Today we found out that our little baby is a SHE! We are so excited to bring this little girl into our home. Ty is a goner already..."All American Girl" came on on the radio and that was it for him, he is going to spoil her rotten. He also has already said she will never be allowed to date!! Haha! I am so excited and it makes it so real to be able to call her my daughter. I feel so blessed to be able to carry this sweet spirit for 9 months and get closer to her every day. I cant wait to see her sweet face and hold her and snuggle her! Hooray for girls!!

I will be 13 weeks on Wednesday...which makes our due date January 12th. We are so happy, and even though my pregnancy hasn't been "easy" thus far, I am so very grateful to be pregnant. Ty will make such a wonderful daddy. It was so fun to watch him get so excited over the first ultrasound picture, even though it was a dot (which honestly I could not even see what the Dr was talking about), but we knew that was our little baby. And it has just gotten better from there. Last week we were able to get some profile pictures and I think my little babe is just darling. I cannot wait to be a mother!

We always do boys vs. girls and we had such a great time. Emi and Livi were especially crafty this year. And Dax decided he would rather sit with the girls (we are way better). Unfortunately little Gabbi was sick so she didn't get to decorate. This is what we ended up with...

This lovely number was made by Kari, Taylor, Dani, Katie, Emi, Livi and Dax.

The boys decided to take a football theme and decorated their house with the Chargers colors and logo. This was made by Ty, Ry, and Gager...

Not too hard to guess who won. Mom couldn't decide, so we invited the Hallsted's over and in the end the WIN went to the girls with "most original" for the boys.

This is all before we got married.

We'll start with Ty's birthday. I already posted about this in July, but I never put the pictures up. Re-cap...It was an eventful day. I threw him a surprise party at the park. Both of our families came and some friends. I gave Ty a beach cruiser, we went for a bike ride and everyone was waiting for us at the park. We had a BBQ and water gun/water balloon fight. It turned out great! Right before we left for the party we found out our offer had been accepted on our house, it was a great feeling and we just love our home. It has been so fun decorating and making it ours. The night before I had taken Ty to Joe's Crab Shack for birthday dinner. Here are the pictures...

Right before the party, this is our "we have a house!!!" picture.Me being absolutely soaking wet from the water fight. Somehow I ended up being the main target of every child there.Ty at Joe's Crab Shack...as they sang to him they made him say "I have pretty crabs".These next pictures are from our 4th of July trip to Heber/Snowflake with my family. Heber has the most amazing fireworks. The only year I have ever missed was the summer I lived in Hawaii. We went hiking and fishing for Olivia's 3rd birthday, but somehow I ended up with no pictures from fishing. Ty and I also took time to go walk around the Snowflake Temple.Just a lil shout out to 2 of my favorite people... Bailee, my bestest cousin. Grandpa Laron, one of the greatest men I know. Love you both!This is just a random night that we spent playing in the backyard with our puppy, Jersey. She is almost twice that size now.We also got the chance to go see Wicked again with my siblings.

I am finally getting around to posting some pictures from the last little while. They may be a bit out of order...

These are pictures from our honeymoon. The first two nights we stayed at the Arizona Grand (previously known as the Point). Our room was fabulous! This was the view.Next we stayed at the Westin for one night (Thank you Kasey and Danny!).

And then we were off on our cruise!! It was so so fun!! This is Ty, being so excited to board the ship. This was his first cruise, my 2nd...so I kept my cool. :)Oh you know, just singing a little Journey for the crowd...Dinner was always fantastic. The food in general was fantastic...we ate way too much, but it was so worth it!On our way in to Catalina, we went snorkeling there and ate at a delicious sea food restaurant overlooking the ocean.

This is Ensenada...we just did some shopping and went on a little tour.The rest of the pics are on the ship...and yes, that is the real sky. It was amazing!!!

My dad broke his back this weekend. :( Sometimes I feel like I am like in a hospital drama television show. He is going to be ok, no lasting affects. It ended up being a lot better than we initially thought. He fractured his T5, so he will be spending the next 6 weeks looking like a turtle in his lovely back brace. No surgery though...*phew*

WOW - we had an amazing wedding day. So many people helped make our day perfect, we could not have done it without you! Everything was so beautiful, it couldn't have been better. Thank you to everyone who helped in the months before the wedding, the day of, clean up...etc. Thank you for coming to our reception and being a part of our special day and making it wonderful! We are so happy.

Ok... I have a quality post coming this weekend. This month has been crazy! We got MARRIED, went on a fabulous honeymoon, moved into our new house, started decorating (or at least trying to), I'm back at work, Ty started school, and had a fun trip to Las Vegas to see Mr. Olympia (those guys are CRAZY!). A.I. Concert - UH MAZING (most of it)

So Angie and I went to American Idol last night, and I have to say...it was really good! I don't really watch the show, but the concert was great!! Its a very fun concert because you get to hear so many styles. And since I don't really know any of the artists, I was glad they all sang songs we knew so we could sing along! I forgot to charge my camera so I have very few real pictures, these are all taken from my phone. There were a couple of low points for me - 1 being Megan's entire set. The girl isn't good and is SO awkward to watch "dance". She does all this weird pointing and swaying. 2 would be Adam Lambert's attempt to be sultry and sexy. It was Hilarious. Don't get me wrong, the kid has some MAJOR pipes, but I just cant handle his lunges and crotch grabbing while singing something along the lines of "every inch of my love". BUH! Even with his over-the-top dancing and facial expressions, he was entertaining and we laughed the entire time he was on stage. Fav's would have to be Lil Rounds, Anoop, Matt, Danny, Allison, and Kris. Lil Rounds sang Single Ladies and she did an OK job actually...but she is no Beyonce! Anoop sang a Brittney Spears song (cant remember which one) and it was SO FUNNY!! Matt rocked out on the piano and sang an excellent version of Georgia. Danny sang a few Rascal Flatts songs - including What Hurts the Most... Allison is a rockstar, Barracuda was awesome. And Kris was just great!! Opening his set with Heartless (yes the Kanye West song) and closing with Hey Jude. What a great night!

So I had an fantastic drive into work yesterday morning. I always listen to John Jay and Rich in the mornings, they are hilarious. Anyways, I usually try to answer the question for the tired and brain dead, and I get it right quite often in my car...so I called in. My call went right through on the first try. The question was "What is the number one excuse girls use to either not go out on a date, or get out of a date they are currently on?" And the answer is..."Tell them you have to go console a girlfriend going through a breakup". I really did use that excuse one time, so it just came to me and it was RIGHT! So now, I will be sitting fifth row at AMERICAN IDOL on Monday with Mangie. It is going to be so fun!!

Side note: I must be pretty good at that game, I actually got it right a few months ago and won a DVD. But this is a way better prize!

Our puppy is getting so BIG!

She started out as this sweet little puppy who I could hold in one hand. We even had to drag her for a while when we took her for walks, as she was getting used to her leash. But eventually she got the hang of it.

Now she is HUGE, and still growing. She is loud and so fast, and literally takes me for walks. But we still love her. She is a sweetie and Ty is definitely her favorite, although she likes me too. She has learned to sit, stay, shake, and rollover. Sometimes she will play fetch...but usually she runs to whatever toy you have thrown her, and takes it off to a corner so she can play with it in peace. And she is so slobbery... seriously she walks past me and soaks my leg before I even know she is there.

We are so happy we found a house that has a great yard for her to play in!

Busy Busy Busy...

Well the last few weeks certainly have been very busy!

It all started with Ty's birthday. I managed to pull off a surprise party for him...and he was actually surprised!! I had a ton of help, of course. Everyone set up a BBQ at Freestone Park, complete with 25+ water guns and TONS of water balloons. I gave Ty a beach cruiser (bike) for his birthday, I already have one. He loved it! And when I gave it to him he fell right into my little trap asking if we could go for a bike ride!! We went for a ride and I let him think he was leading. Then as we got to freestone park, I took the lead and we ran right into his surprise party. It was pretty fun to watch him realize what was going on. He was so excited. All in all a great birthday. However...it got better!!

Right as we were getting ready to leave for our bike ride, we got a phone call with some EXCELLENT news. Our offer had been accepted for a house on Crismon and Broadway. We love the house and could not be happier how it all worked out. After 2 1/2 months of searching, this was by far the best house we had found and we love it. Happy Birthday to Ty!!

Tuesday we took our engagement pictures, they turned out AMAZING!!! It was so fun and I really could not be more thrilled with the pictures. We took them at Tempe Lake with Mark Mabry. Here's a few....

In my year of working at the University of Phoenix I have come across a few gems in Phoenix and I think everyone needs to try them. Make a date out of it... these are wonderful!

1. LGO - Le Grande Orange. This place has it all, breakfast, sushi, sandwiches, and freaking fantastic pizza. It is also a really cute market and has a delicious dessert selection!

2. Arlecchino Gelateria. Next door to LGO, if you don't try it while you're there, you are definitely missing out. The best Gelato HANDS DOWN!

3. Essence Bakery and Cafe. TO DIE FOR macaroons and different desserts to choose from each week. Mediterranean Cafe - if you're ever in the mood for Hummus this is a MUST TRY. I love their Spanakopita or Mediterranean Platter.

4. America's Taco Shop. Make sure you try the Vampiro and their Bean and Cheese Burrito. Mmm...

5. Gallo Blanco. Also a taco shop, opened by the head chef from LGO. Try their Torta or several taco's...they are small.

6. Bertha's Café. SALADS!! Their sandwiches are great too though!

Last weekend Ty and I went goofy golfing with Tucker and Alisha. Being the competitive couple that we are, we challenged them and said the losers had to buy ice cream. Well... we didn't do so great. We lost. But when it was all said and done, I was victorious! I beat Ty, by two. Earlier in the night I had beat up on him in a little game called Fast and Furious as well. It was a good day for me. :) AND an even better day for Ty. He was such a good sport and didn't even get mad that I beat him, twice. See - this picture was taken AFTER, and he is still smiling!

Aunt Page had her sweet little baby Jade on April 21st. Landyn is such a cute big sister! She always says Jade is hers... "MY BABY". Pagey is glad she had the girls in the order she did... Landyn was a wild baby. Sweet as can be but definitely was full of energy from the beginning... Jade is as mellow as they come, she just goes with whatever. Which is good, because Landyn is still that wild and crazy girl. Loves being outside with papa and all the cousins and animals. She was born to be a cowgirl...

Other News... we will be having another addition to our family. My beautiful sister Kari makes such darling kids, with Buddha's help I suppose, that they have decided to add one more to the mix! They are expecting #6 in December. We are all so excited. They were going to wait a while to tell everyone, but they told their kids and Gabbi couldn't hold it in. She told her kindergarten teacher the next day and so now we all get to know. Thanks Gab! :)

House Hunters

We are currently trying to find a home to start our new life in... It has been fun, frustrating, and unsuccessful thus far. I think I have honestly looked at 300+ homes via the Internet, and from there probably walked through about 30 or so. Some have been great, while others were totally trashed by the bitter previous owners who decided to tear up their foreclosing home. Its really frustrating to walk into a house that could be SO great, only to find there is nothing left (carpet, lights, windows) , or they flooded it before they left (resulting in a smell I am unable to describe), or they lived in such filth until their move out date that it would have to be gutted anyways... Hopefully we will find one that we both love, and that loves our wallets too!
